Price, Value
Which finally brings us to the price. Unlike Nexus phones of the past with their flagship features and lower than flagship price, this phone has flagship features, with a price that matches. The Pixel is $649 for the 32GB smaller size and $769 for the 32GB Pixel XL. This puts it on par with iPhones, hence me comparing some of the features like the camera to it.

Now, I’m well aware that no iPhone user is switching to the Pixel, so the closest Android phones to really compare it too is probably the Galaxy S7 Edge, the LG V20 maybe, and the Moto Z. If compared to these, the phone has a better camera by most comparisons which is something super important to me at least, Google Assistant built-in that will get better but isn’t quite there yet, not as nice of a design as some of those, but I think it comes down to what it doesn’t have that the others ones do.

Like the Nexus devices before it, it has stock Android and because of that the sheer experience of using it is so snappy, so crisp and won’t slow down over time and will only get better with updates from Google. In my opinion, with a camera on a pure Google device that I can be proud of and all the other things mentioned, it’s hard to not recommend the Pixel or Pixel XL if that’s the price range you were looking in and speed is something you care about.
